How does the Solar + Roof package work?
Our Solar + Roof package combines a new energy-efficient metal roof with a complete solar system. You’ll pay approximately the same amount you currently pay for electricity, but now you own the system. After the financing period, you’ll have zero electric bills and a valuable solar system that increases your home’s value.
Do I really need $0 down to get started?
Yes! Our programs require no upfront costs. We understand that energy independence shouldn’t require a large initial investment. You can get started immediately with approved financing, and your monthly payment typically matches or is less than your current electric bill.
What if I have low credit?
We have special low credit programs available. We work with multiple financing partners to help Tennessee residents qualify regardless of credit history. Your home’s equity and the energy savings can help you qualify even with challenged credit.
How much will my property value increase?
Studies show that solar installations increase home values by 5-10% on average. A new energy-efficient roof combined with solar panels makes your home more attractive to buyers and appraises for significantly more than comparable homes without these upgrades.
What warranties are included?
Our metal roofs come with lifetime warranties from local manufacturers. Solar panels include 25-year performance warranties. All installation work is guaranteed, and we use only certified, insured installers. You’ll have complete peace of mind with industry-leading coverage.
Can I choose just the roof without solar?
Yes! Our Energy Roof Only program allows you to choose between energy-efficient shingles or metal roofing without adding solar panels. This is perfect if you want to upgrade your roof first and add solar later, or if your property isn’t ideal for solar.
What's included in the Energy Efficiency Package?
The Energy Efficiency Package includes conversion of all interior and exterior lights to LED bulbs, plus a Google Nest smart thermostat with professional installation and programming. This package maximizes your energy savings and comes included with most programs.
How long does installation take?
Roof installation typically takes 2-5 days depending on size. Solar installation takes 1-3 days. The Energy Efficiency Package can be completed in one day. We coordinate all work to minimize disruption and complete your project as quickly as possible while maintaining the highest quality standards.
What rebates am I eligible for?
Tennessee offers various statewide rebates for energy efficiency and solar installations. Federal tax credits are also available. We handle all the paperwork and help you maximize every available incentive. Our team stays current on all programs to ensure you receive maximum benefits.
What happens if I move?
The solar system and new roof add significant value to your home, making it easier to sell and commanding a higher price. The financing can be transferred to the new homeowner, or you can pay off the balance with proceeds from the sale. Most sellers find the upgrades help their home sell faster.
How much maintenance is required?
Very minimal! Metal roofs require virtually no maintenance. Solar panels are designed to be maintenance-free and are cleaned naturally by rain. We recommend an annual inspection (which we provide), but otherwise, your system will operate automatically with no effort required from you.
What if my roof needs repairs first?
We conduct a thorough inspection before any installation. If repairs are needed, we’ll provide options and can often incorporate necessary repairs into the project. We want to ensure your roof structure is sound before installing solar panels or a new roof covering.
